Andy Orrock2024-08-13Excellent house and location. Proximity to the Rosa Burn proved to be a big hit with the teenagers. Indeed proximity to more or less everything was good. Apologies for not turning on the dishwasher before we left. Only negative comments would be lack of toilet rolls and no dishwasher tablets. Since we were close to the Co-op we were able to buy them ourselves!

Excellent communications with the owner who responded very quickly to any queries and was incredibly accommodating. The wifi was an unexpected bonus!

Hannah Jary2024-05-16Airlie Gardens was a great find - plenty of space, everything we needed, walking distance from the ferry and gorgeous views. The only thing that was lacking was a bit of pre-stay and during-stay information. The only info we got before the stay was directions to the house and key safe instructions (no check in time, terms & conditions etc). And in the house there was no information at all (we had no idea how to get the hot water working (multiple different confusing switches) and there were no instructions - so got a bit cold after a sea swim on the day we arrived! It would have been nice if there was an info folder on hot water, wifi (the website said there should be but no evidence of that?), check out arrangements, recycling etc. However, the hosts were very responsive by email before our stay and by Whatsapp/text during our stay. Thanks for a great trip.
